Smart Connector 1: for intelligently connected machines

Thanks to the STIHL Smart Connector 1, professionals in garden and green area care, public space maintenance, or Facility Management can easily integrate their machines into the STIHL connected environment. STIHL machines have a designated space for attaching the STIHL Smart Connector 1. It can also be installed at an appropriate point on machines from other manufacturers. You only need to activate it once. A positioning aid guides you during installation on machines from other brands, allowing you to integrate them into your STIHL fleet management system. The Smart Connector automatically detects usage phases, records operating hours, and transmits information via Bluetooth to the STIHL connected Box or your mobile device.
The data is then transmitted to the STIHL cloud, where it is recorded in compliance with legal data protection regulations. Through the STIHL connected portal or app, you can view total and daily operating times, as well as detailed history. If the machine is connected to your smartphone, the last known location of the STIHL Smart Connector 1 will also be displayed. To more easily locate a specific machine in your fleet, you have the option to activate the integrated LED in the Smart Connector 1 of each equipment. This function allows you to quickly and accurately identify a particular machine.
With STIHL connected, you can access the entered data related to your machines at any time via the STIHL connected app or portal. This gives you a practical and transparent overview of all your equipment. The app allows you to check operating times, get an overview of all maintenance tasks to be performed, ensuring you don’t miss any important interventions and that your machines are always ready for use. You can then organize your work more efficiently and plan maintenance interventions promptly, in coordination with your STIHL specialized dealer. The STIHL Smart Connector 1 is available in two packages:
